Software available via emulation on the Vampire
Even though the Amiga has enjoyed a huge library of native software, many desirable apps and games were never released for the Amiga. Some of these programs can still be made to run on an Amiga, by using specific software that emulates the intended hardware for those programs. Also, many game engines have been ported to the Amiga, which make it possible to run games intended for other platforms, by interpreting game data files and emulating missing components. Thanks to the unprecedented speed of the Vampire, much of this software runs pretty well, even with the overhead added by the emulation layer. This opens up a whole new world of previously unavailable software to Amiga users.
